Choux Pastry

 

The Choux Pastry class at Savour will provide you with the intrinsic knowledge and basic skills behind this traditional French pastry. We'll teach you how to make the ultimate pate a choux, which forms the basis to eclairs, religieuse and cream puffs so you can produce new creations in your own kitchen. You'll complete your choux bun creations with different flavour combinations, buttercream fillings, sponges, glazes and more.

You will take home a selection of your creations to enjoy with your family and friends.

 

December classes will be Christmas themed and you can freeze all your creations just in time for Christmas day!

 

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

- Recipes and techniques to make the perfect choux pastry and croustilliant
- A range of delicious traditional and modern cream fillings
- Piping and assembly techniques
- A range of finishing techniques including the use of glazes, transfer sheets and metallic powders
- Techniques and recipes for home or commercial use

Yes.

 

How many people will be in the class?

There is a maximum of 12 people per class.

 

CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES TO BOOKINGS

 

Savour Chocolate and Patisserie School operate a no refund policy. Any amendments or changes to a class booking require 10 days’ notice prior to the class start date Any requests to change or swap a class booking with less than 10 days’ notice will not be redeemed. If you cancel a class booking more than 10 days prior to commencing your class, this will result in a Credit Note with a 6 month expiry. A $30.00 administration fee will be deducted from the final value of the credit note.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
No. All equipment and ingredients will be provided.

WHAT TO WEAR
You must wear closed-toe shoes. Chef's jackets are optional.

Please do not make travel arrangements until your class has been confirmed via email. If you have not received your 'Booking Confirmation' within 72 hours of booking your class, please contact accounts@savourschool.com.au.
