Macarons

This class is suitable for students with no or limited experience making macarons and more experienced cooks wanting to expand their recipe collection and learn more advanced techniques.

Macarons (often mispronounced as Macaroon) are renowned as being a difficult product to perfect, but you will be amazed at how simple they can be with the secrets we will pass on to you.

You will take home a selection of your creations to enjoy with your colleagues, family and friends.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

- Understanding key ingredients plus the four steps to a perfect macaron
- Piping macaron shells and baking
- How to get feet to form on the shells and prevent cracking
- Making and piping ganache fillings

Advanced Skills (only at Savour)
- Making macarons using the French, Spanish and Italian methods
- Multi-flavoured combinations
- Textured layered fillings to add depth to your macarons, such as fillings with cream and jelly, or layers of ganache and peanut brittle

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How is your Macaron class different from others?

Savour is better value for money. We make 5 fillings of macaron, plus give you 4 bonus recipes. You take home approximately 50 macarons in beautiful macaron boxes. Other classes do only 1 or 2 fillings and you take home only 12. Plus you have to bring your own box. 

What are the class dates and prices?

Is this class suitable for beginners?

Yes.

 

Cancellations / Changes of your Class Booking (made by the Customer)

Savour Chocolate and Patisserie School operate a no refund policy and as such we are unable to refund any class bookings where you decide to cancel a class booking 10 days or less prior to commencing your class, as a result of any change in personal circumstances, including medical grounds. No refunds will be given if you have simply changed your mind. If you cancel a class booking more than 10 days prior to commencing your class, this will result in a Credit Note (6 month expiry) where we will deduct a $30.00 administration fee from the booking amount, which is non-transferable to retail items.

DO YOU NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
No. All equipment and ingredients will be provided.

WHAT TO WEAR
- You must wear closed-toe shoes. Chef's jackets are not compulsory.

Please do not make travel arrangements until your class has been confirmed via email. If you have not received your 'Booking Confirmation' within 72 hours of booking your class, please contact accounts@savourschool.com.au
