Introduction to Patisserie

Our Introduction to Patisserie class is perfect for students with little or no experience in a professional kitchen. In this course, we'll provide you with the essential theory and practical skills you need for patisserie. Learn about chocolate, macarons, tarts, choux pastry and lots more in this extensive programme. You'll receive specialised hands-on training from our award winning chefs to launch your career in patisserie. Don't miss the opportunity to learn from the best in the industry!

 

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

- Chocolate tempering and theory
- Making moulded and hand-dipped chocolates
- Making a range of French pastries including eclairs and tarts
- Patisserie basics such as making macarons, ganaches, sponge, dacquoise, cremeux and more
- Garnishing, glazing and plating techniques.

 

Is this class suitable for beginners?


Yes. This class is suitable for all levels of experience and our teachers will guide you throughout the duration of the class.

CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES TO BOOKINGS

Savour Chocolate and Patisserie School operate a no refund policy. Any amendments or changes to a class booking require 10 days’ notice prior to the class start date. We cannot make any changes to class bookings with less than 10 days’ notice prior to the class start date. If you cancel a class booking more than 10 days prior to commencing your class, this will result in a Credit Note with a 6 month expiry. A $30.00 administration fee will be deducted from the final value of the credit note.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
No. All equipment and ingredients will be provided.

WHAT TO WEAR
You must wear closed-toe shoes. Chef's jackets are optional.

CONFIRMATION & TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
Please do not make travel arrangements until your class has been confirmed via email. If you have not received your 'Booking Confirmation' within 72 hours of booking your class, please contact accounts@savourschool.com.au.
