Learn how to make Macarons in our brand new combined class!

MacaronsSavour Chocolate & Patisserie School is relaunching a BRAND NEW Macarons class, combining 3 of our Macaron classes (Level 1, and Continuing Education 1 & 2) into one fantastic one-day class, simply called ‘Macarons’!

 

In order to create this NEW Macarons ‘greatest hits’ class, our award winning chefs Kirsten Tibballs and Paul Kennedy sat down and made the ultimate list of our best Macaron flavour combinations and recipes (…not an easy task!)

 

Macarons will cover essential skills for making perfect macarons along with more advanced techniques for making complex, high quality products. Revisit the basic macaron-making steps while learning to make multi-flavoured and textured macarons or our amazing dual-coloured shells (right) in this hands-on class.

 

Current flavours include peanut brittle with chocolate ganache, tiramisu with cream and jelly fillings, salt and vinegar and our famous Hamburger macaron! These flavours may change from class to class.

 

By combining all three classes, students who have taken Macarons Level One may find that some of the recipes may have been covered in their earlier class. However, by including our continuing education classes, they’ll likely be new recipes and techniques for you to master.

 

Forget buying macarons or using pre-mix from your supermarket, you will be able to create sale-quality macarons in your own kitchen, worthy of any Parisian patisserie after this class.

The World Chocolate Masters is the only competition in the world solely dedicated to the creative use of chocolate. Always on the lookout for the world’s most promising chocolate talent, the organizing chocolate brand Cacao Barry® has begun preparing for the 6th edition of this famous international competition. The search for the world’s greatest exponent of chocolate work will start again soon with a series of National Selections to be held throughout all corners of the world.
Nature proofs to be a strong source of sensorial inspiration. Whether it is the colour of flavors, the sounds of the ocean, the change of seasons, nature is all around us and affecting our moods. At the same time we want more pure, authentic and high quality ingredients. For us, food is more than just food.

 

 

For the 6th edition of the World Chocolate Masters, Pâtissiers, Chocolatiers and Chefs will have to play with colours, shapes, scents, textures…to tickle Jury’s senses. We like to invite chocolate creators around the world to explain us how natural products are shaped and transformed into a delightful story with cacao and chocolate at the heart.

Boiron fruit puree are available to purchase at Savour Chocolate & Patisserie School. Savour uses Boiron Frozen Puree is all our hands-on cooking classes in Melbourne and our Online Classes.

 

To make your own puree, it requires quite a lot of work. With Boiron frozen puree it is simple to use and it lasts a long time in the freezer. But most of all, the taste is delicious!
